The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to return to ArtNight Pasadena on Friday, March 8, 2019, from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at the Pasadena Public Library! ArtNight is a citywide arts festival in Pasadena, CA, held twice per year, highlighting music, dance, and all forms of visual arts, including comic books.

As part of this year’s ArtNight, the Pasadena Public Library’s will highlight female creators in a variety of mediums, including comics and graphic novels. This year, the list of attendees from the comics field includes the Fanbase Press staff, Kim Dwinnell, Mairghread Scott, Natalie Nourigat, Christie Shinn (HoraTora Studios), Mariah Huehner, Jules Rivera, Susan Lee (Life on Its Side, Women on the Dark Side), Kristen Gorlitz, Xanthe Bouma, Nilah Magruder, Cecil Castellucci, Anne Toole, Leslie Hung, Madeline Holly-Rosing (Boston Metaphysical Society), the creators of Hex 11, Dawn and Clint Wolf (Lab Reject Studios, Zombie Ranch), and many, many more!

Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanbase Press table to learn more about the self-publishing process, as well as graphic novels the 2018 Eisner Award-nominated Quince, the 2014 Bram Stoker Award-nominated Fearworms: Selected Poems, The Sequels, A Geek’s Guide to Cross-Stitch: Journeys in Space, The Margins, Hero Hotel, The Gamma Gals, Something Animal, Identity Thief, The Arcs, and Penguins vs. Possums. In addition, attendees will have a chance to pre-order our upcoming trade paperback for The Sequels and purchase an official Fanbase Press t-shirt.
