Fanbase Press invites readers to attend a signing for Yehudi Mercado‘s (Pantalones, TX, Rocket Salvage) all-ages graphic novel, Hero Hotel, which will take place at Earth-2 Comics in Sherman Oaks, CA, on Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Readers of all ages are invited to meet creator Yehudi Mercado and to pick up a signed copy of the graphic novel!  In addition, Mercado will be participating in the shop’s S.C.R.A.W.L. art class from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and young artists interested in the class should contact Earth-2 Comics for additional details.

Hero Hotel is a hilarious all-ages comic book series that follows Chet and his cat, Boomer, as they work in a hotel… a hotel for super heroes! Awesome, right? Wrong. Because there’s nothing worse than a hero on vacation.

Collected into a trade paperback featuring four side-splitting adventures, Hero Hotel is a full-color book [coloring by Alessandro Alessi Anghini (Sleigher: Heavy Metal Santa Claus)] that was released on November 21, 2016. In addition, the trade paperback features bonus stories by several notable creators, including Dennis Culver (Edison Rex, E Is for Extinction), Scott McMahon (Sami the Samurai Squirrel, Aw Yeah Comics!), David Scheidt (Adventure Time, Aw Yeah Comics!), Tom Pinchuk (Max Steel), Alejandro Rosado (Kid Robot, Hasbro), Megan Levens (Madame Frankenstein, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer), Geoffrey Golden (The Devastator), Amanda Meadows (The Devastator), Lee Keeler (Night Talk with Martin Starr), Tone Rodriguez (Bart Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror), Bryan Turner (Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, DC Super Hero Girls), and Justin Peterson (Very Near Mint, MAD Magazine).

Copies of Hero Hotel will be available for sale at Earth-2 Comics on the day of the event, and creator Yehudi Mercado will be on hand to sign copies for attendees.
