For comic book fans in the Southern California area, Long Beach Comic Con is an annual event that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. The convention will return once again this year, taking place from Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, 2016, with a plethora of phenomenal panels scheduled throughout the weekend. This morning, Fanbase Press is honored to announce the inclusion of the #MakeComics: How to Build an Audience from Scratch Panel which will take place on Saturday, September 17, at 3:30 p.m. With panelists Nick Marino (Holy F*ck!), Madeleine Holly-Rosing (Boston Metaphysical Society), and Fanbase Press’ own Barbra Dillon participating, we invite you to join in on the insightful and exciting event!
The #MakeComics: How to Build an Audience from Scratch panel will discuss how to find an audience for your comic book, once it has been created. With Wannabe Press founder/writer Russell Nohelty moderating, the panelists will include Nick Marino (Action Lab: Danger Zone’s Holy F*ck!), Madeleine Holly-Rosing (Boston Metaphysical Society), and Barbra Dillon (Fanbase Press Editor-in-Chief) discussing exactly how to build an audience, so that people will read your book. Our panel of experts have been in the trenches, building audiences, growing brands, and finding like-Âminded people with which to share their work. This panel is hosted by The Business of Art podcast and Wannabe Press (www.wannabepress.com).
