Over the weekend, the Fanboy Comics staff attended Long Beach Comic Expo 2016 in Long Beach, CA, for another celebration of all things comics and pop culture. During the convention, Fanboy Comics Managing Editor Barbra Dillon moderated the Celebrating Women in Comics panel, where panelists Cat Staggs (Artist, Star Wars, DC Comics & IDW), Agnes Garbowska (Artist, IDW’s My Little Pony, Dark Horse, Marvel, Dynamite, & Aspen), and Taki Soma (Artist/Writer, Marvel Icon, Dark Horse, and Image Comics) discussed the climate of women in the comic book industry.
