GLAAD Award-winning and Eisner-nominated publisher and media outlet Fanbase Press is honored to announce its partnership with psychologist Dr. Drea Letamendi for the “Compassion for Creatives: Building Resilient Communities During Challenging Times” discussion, taking place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 1 p.m./PT. The free event will be part of Fanbase Press’ 15th anniversary “Build Your Community” Initiative: a series of in-person and virtual opportunities for connection and skill building to navigate a collective path forward.
Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and betrayed are common experiences as we navigate turbulence in the economy, political leadership, and creative industry landscape. This community-centered discussion, led by Dr. Letamendi, will focus on building skills for psychological recovery by tapping into the human capacity for compassion.
To ensure accessibility for all of Fanbase Press’ community members, the discussion will take place virtually via Zoom. Registration is required. (Please note that this event will not be recorded.)
Fanbase Press will have many more in-person and virtual events scheduled throughout the year.
