WINNER ANNOUNCED BELOW
Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:
Take heed, fellow geeks! Something wicked (and awesome) this way comes . . . a Toil and Trouble giveaway from Fanboy Comics!
Toil and Trouble is a new comic book series published by BOOM! Studios that reveals a whole new side to the bloody events that take place in William Shakespeare’s tragedy, Macbeth! Written by friend of FBC Mairghread Scott (Transformers: Windblade) and featuring the artwork of Kelly & Nichole Matthews, Toil and Trouble is described by the publisher as “ . . . not the Macbeth you remember!”
“The three fates – Riata, Cait, and Smertae – have always been guiding and protecting Scotland unseen, indirectly controlling the line of kings according to the old religion. When there is a disagreement in the sisterhood, Riata and Smertae will use men as pawns, and Smertae will direct Macbeth to a crown he was never meant to have.”
We at Fanboy Comics are, of course, already huge fans of Toil and Trouble, as our review of issue one and FBC Presents podcast episode with writer Mairghread Scott can attest. To celebrate the release of the first issue, we’re giving away a copy of Toil and Trouble #1 signed by Scott.
What spell can you cast to bend fortune to your will and snag this awesome swag? All interested fans should enter by retweeting the following when you see it posted on the Fanboy Comics (@FanboyComix) Twitter account:
