The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting once again at Los Angeles Comic Con, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place from October 4-6, 2024, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. Throughout the weekend, we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth (Artist Alley C54), where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels, including award-winning titles like Ripple Effects (Now on Kickstarter for an expanded hardcover edition!), Four-Color Heroes, Nuclear Power, and Quince! 

Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanbase Press booth to pick up our award-winning comics and graphic novels, including the 2024 GLAAD Media Award-winning Four-Color Heroes, the 2023 Eisner and Harvey Awards-nominated Ripple Effects, the 2018 Eisner Award-nominated Quince, the multiple award-winning Quince: The Definitive Bilingual Edition hardcover, the 2022 International Latino Book Award-winning Nuclear Power, and more.

Indie Creators in Attendance

In addition, you will not want to miss the other indie creators, writers, artists, and publishers who will be exhibiting their work at the convention.  (Special thanks to Don Nguyen for compiling the below graphic, highlighting so many incredible indie creators in attendance at LA Comic Con this year!)

• Writer/artist Livio Ramondelli (Transformers, The Kill Lock) will be in Artist Alley (Table H04).
• Writer Charlie Stickney (White Ash Comics – soon to be on Kickstarter) will be at Booth 314 with a convention exclusive ashcan preview of a one-shot releasing in 2025. Glarien and Thane tells the story of how White Ash’s VERY first couple began.  Written by Layne Morgan, the ashcan features a cover by Skylar Patridge and art by Anna Morozova. Skylar and Layne will both be at Booth 314 as guests of White Ash Comics for the duration of the convention to sign copies, do sketches, and meet fans.
• Writer/artist Christie Shinn (HoraTora Studios) will be in Artist Alley (Table G37).
• Writer David Avallone (Elvira, Drawing Blood) will be in Artist Alley (Table F34).
• Comics creators Matt and John Yuan will be in Artist Alley (Table F36).
• Writer Arthur N. Ebuen (Studio 12-7) will be in Artist Alley (C52) with all issues of ©alifornia, Inc. and its in-world merch. His table is part of the Floor Tour. Stop by to get your tour map and learn about your chance to get some free prizes!
• Writer D.J. Kirkbride will be in Artist Alley (Table H20) with copies of his award-winning graphic novels!  
• Artist Don Nguyen (Pablo the Gorilla, DC & Marvel Upper Deck sketchcards, Topps Star Wars sketchcards) will be in Artist Alley at F45. He’s giving out a commemorative sticker sheet for original art purchases $30+ and a Pablo the Gorilla totes for original art purchases $80+. In addition, he’s bringing a little bit of San Diego Comic-Con and WonderCon to Los Angeles Comic Con. Visit amazing creators and pick up swag (while supplies last) then enter to win fantastic prizes. No purchase necessary but purchases will add bonus prizes!
