Fanbase Press is proud to announce that the Paul and Corey Cross the Streams (PACCTS) podcast will return for its sixth season on Thursday, February 8, 2024!

Launched in March of 2019, Paul and Corey Cross the Streams is a bi-monthly podcast in which hosts Paul Pakler and Corey Pepper (co-hosts, Quality Time with Family Ties podcast) watch and review streaming content. It’s the Great American Podcast where two friends learn about life as they float down the river of streaming services.

Having amassed more than 100 episodes in its run, PACCTS’ sixth season will focus its sights on “the greatest films of all time” (both in the US and internationally), as labeled by the British Film Institute’s 2022 Sight and Sound Poll of industry critics. Corey will be choosing American films from the critics’ list, and Paul will be choosing international ones. The goal is to examine the films that are considered great, and why that may be the case.

The first episode of Season 6 will focus on the Chaplin classic – and arguably the greatest romantic comedy of all time – City Lights (1931).

“I’m very excited about this season of PACCTS,” notes co-host Paul Pakler. “I feel like every year we’ve raised the bar for ourselves, and this season is no different. Selfishly, I also can’t wait to knock a bunch of these films off my need-to-see list.”

Co-host Corey Pepper adds, “Over the years, there are just so many films that have slipped through the cracks. I hope to enjoy a bunch of great American films that have passed me by and to learn from the erudite and lyrical international films Paul will force me to watch.”

The Season 6 premiere of Paul and Corey Cross the Streams will be released on Thursday, February 8, 2024, on the Fanbase Press website (www.fanbasepress.com) and through Apple Podcasts. Subsequent episodes will air every other Thursday.
