Fanbase Press – an Eisner, Harvey, and GLAAD Media Awards-nominated comic book publisher and geek culture website – is proud to announce that its flagship podcast, The Fanbase Weekly, will return for its ninth season on Monday, February 5, 2024! The Fanbase Weekly team is eager to return for another stellar season filled with exciting guests, including Aaron Waltke (Star Trek: Prodigy, Trollhunters), Tiffany Babb (Popverse, PanelxPanel), Stephanie Cooke (The Racc Pack), Brandon Easton (Thundercats, Marvel Action: Spider-Man), and more!

For the Season 9 podcast premiere, co-hosts Barbra Dillon (Fanbase Press Editor-in-Chief), Claire Thorne (Fanbase Press Contributor, creator of A Geek’s Guide to Cross-Stitch: Journeys in Space), and Drew Siragusa (Fanbase Press Senior Contributor) will be joined by special guests Aaron Waltke (Star Trek: Prodigy, Trollhunters) and Tiffany Babb (Popverse, PanelxPanel).  In addition, all episodes released during the month of February 2024 will be sponsored by the Trekspers Briefing Room podcast hosted by Lisa Klink (writer, Star Trek: Voyager) and Peter Holmstrom (author, The Center Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek). (We always want to send a special thanks to our very own graphic designer, Sean Foster, for sharing his incredible talents with us!)

In addition to the podcast’s standard episodes – featuring the co-hosts and a special guest discussing the geeky and pop culture-focused news of the week – Season 9 will continue to feature over twenty-five “Fanbase Feature” episodes, including panel discussion retrospectives moderated by Bryant Dillon (Fanbase Press President) on such subjects as The Terminator, Gremlins, Interview with the Vampire, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Serenity: Leaves on the Wind, and many more!

As a continuing feature of The Fanbase Weekly, we encourage listeners to get involved in the geeky conversation by calling into the official Fanbase Weekly phone line at 818-732-1148 and leaving us a message to share what they are a fan of. Listener messages may be included in upcoming episodes of the podcast. In addition, be sure stay informed and join the conversation via The Fanbase Weekly‘s Facebook and Twitter pages, where curated geeky news stories are posted every weekday. The topics for each podcast are pulled directly from the Facebook feed, so be sure to let us know which stories are your favorites!

The Season 9 premiere of The Fanbase Weekly will be released on Monday, February 5, 2026, on the Fanbase Press website (www.fanbasepress.com) and through Apple Podcasts and Libsyn.
