The incredible folks at CA-based comic book retailer Collector’s Paradise have generously invited the Fanbase Press and Cosmic Lion Productions teams to join them – alongside talented creators Desirée Proctor and Erica Harrell (co-creators/co-writers – Fanbase Press’ Nuclear Power) – for CicLAmini—North Hollywood on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. During this open-street experience, both publishers will be exhibiting outside of the Collector’s Paradise North Hollywood location to greet attendees throughout the day.

Hosted by CicLAvia, a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization, CicLAmini—North Hollywood will close off Chandler Blvd., Lankershim Blvd., and Magnolia Blvd. for 1 mile of car-free open space to enjoy in your favorite people-powered way.

Attendees can expect a pedestrian-oriented experience, featuring activities, street games, local business engagements, and art and cultural activities for all-ages, and are encouraged to jog, walk, ride, skate, and bike along the open space. Folks of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend.

Comic book fans will have a chance to stop by the Fanbase Press table to purchase the publisher’s award-winning comics and graphic novels, including the 2023 Eisner and Harvey Awards-nominated Ripple Effects, the 2018 Eisner Award-nominated Quince, the multiple award-winning Quince: The Definitive Bilingual Edition hardcover, the 2022 International Latino Book Award-winning Nuclear Power, the newly released LGBTQIA+ coming-of-age graphic novel Four-Color Heroes, and more.
