LOS ANGELES, CA – June 1, 2015 – Fanboy Comics (FBC) is excited to PvProclaim that it will publish the sixth issue of the creator-owned series, Penguins vs. Possums, which will be released at San Diego Comic-Con 2015.

Created by Sebastian Kadlecik, John Bring, and Lindsay Calhoon Bring, Issue #6 will see the escalation of the interspecies war as it spills out of the shadows and into the light of day. Filled to the brim with heart-pounding action, crushing losses, and deceitful betrayal, readers will not want to miss this monumental issue as the series nears its thrilling conclusion.

“I’m super excited for this issue, because so many huge things happen!” said co-creator Kadlecik. “We’re nearing the end of the story, and this issue pulls no punches. We’re hit-ting DEFCON 1 here! (Read the story to see how accurate that truly is!)”

The comic book will also feature pinup work by writer/artist David Flores, creator of the Dead Future King comic book series ([Sic] Monkie, Golden Apple Books), and PvP co-creator Bring.

Attendees of San Diego Comic-Con (July 8-12, 2015) will have an opportunity to buy Penguins vs. Possums #6 at the Fanboy Comics table in the Small Press area (Table O-04). In addition, the comic will be available online for purchase through the Fanboy Comics website starting on Monday, July 13, 2015.

Founded in early 2010, Fanboy Comics is a comic book publisher with an online community that supports other creators and fans through daily reviews, interviews, and podcasts that span the pop culture spectrum.  FBC seeks to provide an outlet for up-and-coming artists and writers with a desire to create new works and media. By facilitating in-house collaborations and providing support and empowerment, FBC hopes to enable the pro-duction of professional and marketable creator-owned works.
