After the success of Brave New World Comics’ first-ever Geek Girls’ Night earlier this year, the special event will return again on Saturday, July 12th, at the Eisner Award-winning comic book and pop culture shop in Newhall, CA! Geek Girls’ Night 2 will be a chance for fans of the female persuasion to let their geek flag fly and enjoy a host of fun activities, panel discussions, giveaways, and more!
Fans in attendance will have the chance to enjoy a geeky craft workshop with a super cool make and take project, compete in a geeky trivia game, and win incredible prizes! You can also get a custom mug painted for you by the incredibly talented Tami Hillberry from A Bird in the Hand. Plus . . . you have just got to get a geeky manicure before the night is over!
In addition to all of the fantastic events and fun stuff Brave New World has planned for you, be sure to make a stop in the Geek Boutique, a tightly curated collection of uniquely geeky, handmade products that you are SO going to love!
Whatever you do, don’t miss the panel discussion, “What’s Your Passion: Let Your Geek Flag Fly,” with current panelists including Jody Houser (Womanthology, Vertigo: Magenta, Cupcake POW!), Janelle Asselin (ComicsAlliance, Disney Publications, DC Comics), Kristine Chester (Fanboy Comics Senior Contributor, Darby Pop Publishing Marketing Rep), Renae Geerlings (Top Cow, Halloween II), and Michelle Brittany (BleedingCool Correspondent).
