In the latest installment of L.A. Theatre Works’ syndicated radio theater series, Sherlock Holmes fans will undoubtedly take great delight in the California premiere of The Hound of the Baskervilles, starring Seamus Dever (Castle), Sarah Drew (Grey’s Anatomy), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Goeffrey Arend (Super Troopers, 500 Days of Summer), which will take place from June 12-15, 2014, at the James Bridges Theatre on the UCLA campus.

L.A. Theatre Works, a non-profit organization that preserves dramatic literature through the production of nationally syndicated audio theatre, will host live performances of The Hound of the Baskervilles, Sherlock Holmes’ most baffling case, while adding a flair of contemporary wit to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic whodunit. The sole surviving Baskerville returns from Canada to fight the ancient curse of a supernatural hound, adjust to the strange class system, and fall in love with his beautiful neighbor. All performances will be recorded live in front of an audience (without sets or costumes) to air on L.A. Theatre Works’ syndicated radio theater series, which broadcasts weekly on public radio stations nationwide (locally, in Southern California, on KPFK 90.7 FM) and can be streamed on demand at www.latw.org.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.latw.org or by calling 310-827-0889.  More information is also available by Facebook and Twitter (@latheatreworks).
