Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:
The FBC staff is very excited to be exhibiting at WonderCon Anaheim next weekend, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place from April 18-20 at the Anaheim Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. Throughout the weekend, we will be reporting live from the convention floor, providing you with the coolest interviews, commentaries, screening details, and photos!
Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanboy Comics booth in the Small Press area (SP-061) to meet the creators of the graphic novels The Arcs, Something Animal, Identity Thief, and FBC’s upcoming title, Penguins vs. Possums! (Fanboy Comics’ creator signing schedule may be found below.) As a special treat, Fanboy Comics will be selling exclusive Penguins vs. Possums: Volume 1 prints with a free digital copy of the entire trade paperback, and artist Sarah Braly will be selling her one-of-a-kind, hand-sculpted PVP figurines. Attendees will also be able to purchase the official Fanboy Comics t-shirt, so that they can show their geek pride in style.
In addition, you will not want to miss the other indie creators, writers, artists, and publishers who will be exhibiting their work at the convention. Cool Cats Comics and Cards owners and comic book creators The Yuan Twins will be exhibiting in Artists’ Alley (AA-221), selling issues of Declan and Chang: Sweet F.A. and other geektastic items. Brewhouse Comics‘ Joshua S. Henaman will also be in Artists’ Alley (AA-264) with copies of his wonderfully epic and awesome comic book series, Bigfoot – Sword of the Earthman. Author Justin Robinson (Mr. Blank, Everyman) will be exhibiting in the Small Press Area (#SP-075) with copies of latest books. (You can always spot his booth by looking for the red banner and the question mark!) Last, but certainly not least, creator/writer Kristopher White of The 36 and Father Robot will be exhibiting in the Small Press Area (SP-062).
