The good folks over at Geekscape.net supply a steady flow of awesome geek content by way of news, reviews, interviews, and podcasts, and now their geek cred is expanding even further.  Partnering with YouTube network Fullscreen Inc., Geekscape will be releasing original video content through their new YouTube channel, GeekscapeTV.

GeekscapeTV launch week includes “Lou Ferrigno Playing Flappy Bird” and preview of the original new sci-fi/fantasy series “Paul London: Hero of the Prophecy”.

Geekscape.net and FullScreen Inc are joining forces to bring you a brand new channel:GeekscapeTV. The channel, currently live at www.youtube.com/GeekscapeTV, is comprised of original narrative content and will also be the home of pop culture celebrity interviews and insider event coverage.”With a client base consisting of thousands of tech and gaming-related channels, Geekscape and Fullscreen are a perfect match.” says Brian Foster Co-Talent Manager at Fullscreen Inc.

Championing all that is geeky, nerdy, off-beat, and interesting, Geekscape.net was formed in late 2006 by Jonathan Londonand Georg Kallert and has been a mainstay in the Geek Culture scene with regular booths at Wonder Con, San Diego Comic Con, and Stan Lee’s Comikaze. Originating as a podcast, Geekscape has produced over 320 weekly episodes of the popular Geekscape podcast, whose lineup of former guests include notables such as Simon Pegg, Paul Scheer,Felicia Day, Orlando Jones, Chris Hardwick, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Co-Creator Kevin Eastman and many more.

“We’re not pretending to do anything that hasn’t been done on the internet before,” says Geekscape CEO and hostJonathan London. “We’re just going to do it better, like times a thousand… million. New videos will be released twice a week with a fixed schedule coming soon.

Launch week videos include Lou Ferrigno playing Flappy Bird and London’s award winning comedy short Gay by Dawn.

London, who is also the writer of the new Miami Vice comic book series from Lion Forge and NBC Universal, has produced a Miami Vice parody tie video to coincide on GeekscapeTV with the book’s release.

Also on the channel is the trailer for the original Geekscape series Paul London: Hero of the Prophecy, which features former WWE Superstar Paul London. Hero of the Prophecy is the story of a pro wrestler from Earth (London) who is transported to an alien planet of sword and sorcery ruled by an evil wizard, played by Hellboy & Pan’s Labyrinth actor Doug Jones. The cast also includes Super Power Beat Down’s Marisha Ray and Ben 10 voice actor Yuri Lowenthal. Upcoming videos will feature conversations with the likes of Stan Lee and Farscape creator Rockne O’Bannon.
