WINNER ANNOUNCED BELOW

Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:

For those individuals in Geekdom who are unfamiliar with Smart Pop Books, please allow me to provide a formal introduction! Smart Pop Books is the pop culture imprint of independent publisher BenBella Books and offers a variety of engaging and thought-provoking non-fiction titles focused on the discussion and exploration of the best of pop culture TV, books, and film. They have tackled Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ender’s Game, The Hunger Games, Dexter, and many more. Now, Smart Pop Books and author Anne Jamison have taken on the ever-expanding world of fanfiction with Fic: Why Fanfiction is Taking Over the World.  (FBC’s official review of the book is available here.)

Our friends at Smart Pop Books have generously provided us with a copy of Fic to share with our fanfic-loving readers, so be sure to read on to find out how you can enter for a chance to win.

What can you do to claim your very own copy of the book? All interested fans should enter by retweeting the following when you see it posted on the Fanboy Comics (@FanboyComix) Twitter account:

Win a copy of ‘Fic’ from @SmartPopBooks, @prof_anne, and FBC! #FicGiveawayFBC RT to enter!

We will be tweeting this message all week, so keep your eyes peeled! Multiple entries are permitted, so retweet away! The contest will officially close on Thursday, February 20th, 2014, at 5:00 p.m./PST.

At the end of the week, the FBC staff will choose one lucky entrant to win the copy of Fic. The winner will be announced on the Fanboy Comics website on Friday, February 21, 2014, along with being notified through Twitter. (Entries will be accepted from the U.S. and Canada only for this contest.)

Congratulations to the following winner:

@ComicCrusaders
