‘PENGUINS VS. POSSUMS’ TO RELEASE
HAND-SCULPTED FIGURINES

LOS ANGELES, CA – November 18, 2013 – The creators of the epic comic book series Penguins vs. Possums are proud to announce that their characters will soon come to life with the release of one-of-a-kind, hand-sculpted and painted figurines!  Set to premiere at Long Beach Comic & Horror Con 2013, characters Emperor Xiao, Zolin (Captain of the Guard), and The Chosen One will leap off comic book pages and onto the convention floor.

Zolin right 5f5Penguins vs. Possums tells the story of a secret war that has been going on underneath our noses since the beginning of time: the inter-species Armageddon between Penguins and Possums!  As this conflict boils to the surface, every human on the planet will soon be forced to CHOOSE A SIDE!  The creators of the comic book series have thus far released four issues to the delight of critics and fans alike, with many more issues to come.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to see our characters realized in such a magnificent way,” says Penguins vs. Possums co-creator Sebastian Kadlecik. “Artist Sarah Braly has rendered these pieces as a perfect representation of their comic book counterparts.”

The penguin and possum figurines will be available for purchase at Long Beach Comic & Horror Con from November 23-24, 2013, at a cost of $40.00 each.  Made from super sculpey, painted with acrylics, and finished with a matte varnish, the figurines vary in size (from 3.75” to 6”) and are featured in a variety of poses.  Additional character figurines may make a special appearance at the convention, so be sure to stop by the Penguins vs. Possums booth (#1506).  As a special promotion, convention attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the PVPackage: 5 comics, a t-shirt, and a print for $30.
