Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:

The FBC staff is very excited to be exhibiting at Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo, along with a host of other talented independent creators! Taking place from November 1-3, 2013, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Comikaze Expo is LA’s largest pop culture convention.

Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanboy Comics booth (AA1336) to meet the creators of the graphic novels The Arcs, Something Animal, and Identity Thief.  (Fanboy Comics’ creator signing schedule may be found below.)  As a special treat, advance copies of The Arcs will be available for sale in advance of the November 6th release date! Attendees will also be able to purchase the official Fanboy Comics t-shirt, so that they can show their geek pride in style.

In addition, you will not want to miss the Indie Creators, Unite! A Guide to Self-Publishing panel taking place on Saturday at 4 p.m., where LA-based independent comic book creators will discuss their own experiences in self-publishing, providing sage advice for creators interested in doing the same. Moderated by Fanboy Comics Managing Editor Barbra Dillon, the panelists will include Fanboy Comics President Bryant Dillon (Identity Thief, Something Animal), John Bring (Penguins vs. Possums), Jared Sams (Jingles Are for Losers), and The Yuan Twins (Cool Cats Comics & Cards).

A host of talented, LA-based indie creators will also be exhibiting at the convention, including the creators of Penguins vs. Possums (John Bring, Sebastian Kadlecik, and Lindsay Calhoon Bring) at Table AA735, who will be debuting Issue #4 of the series and offering a special PVPackage: 5 comics, a t-shirt, and a print for $30!  In addition, Kristopher White (Father Robot, The Thirty Six) may be found at Table AA731, offering copies of The Thirty Six trade paperback for $15 plus a special preview of Father Robot for $5.

Everyone at Fanboy Comics is greatly looking forward to the convention, and we hope to see you there!
