Brokechella 2013If you live in the Los Angeles area and love music and the arts, you will not want to miss Brokechella 2013, the “music fest for the rest of us,” on Saturday, April 20th, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Organized by cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA, Brokechella is a music and arts festival meant for those individuals who do not have the finances for a certain festival in the desert (that may or may not have a similar name).  Brokechella 2013 is sure to yet again swarm with a giant crowd, the best of acts from LA and beyond, mouth-watering eats, and surprises galore. Last year’s Main Stage featured Infantree, LA Font, Rumspringa, Big Moves, and yOya, among others. Inside, bands played all day to packed crowds, while DJs led an army of dance fiends at the Jarritos stage outside.

In addition to a myriad of talented musicians, artists and creators of all kinds will be on hand to showcase their amazing creations.  Fanboy Comics and JBSK Comics (Penguins vs. Possums) will be there to meet concert-goers and sell their indie comics!  The festival will also encompass art installations, dirt cheap drinks, a photo booth, face painting, gift bags, games, and many more unique vendors!

Over 30 musical acts have been booked for the event, a list of which may be found on the Brokechella Facebook event page.  Tickets will go quickly (at a cost of $10 each), so be sure to purchase yours by visiting the Brokechella website.  Additional information and updates may be found by following Brokechella on Twitter, @brokechella.
