Fanbase Press joined fellow indie creators and comic book fans in El Centro, CA, this past weekend (Saturday, February 15th, 2020) for Imperial Valley’s official comic book convention held at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Sports Pavilion. The day-long event featured a number of indie creators exhibiting, panels, cosplay, and a number of special guests (including Star Wars stunt actor Dickey Beer, Growing PainsJeremy Miller, writer Kyle Higgins on DC’s Nightwing and Batman Beyond, WWE Wrestler Rikishi, and many more).

Fanbase Press co-founders Barbra and Bryant Dillon and Quince creator Sebastian Kadlecik spent the day interacting with attendees and providing them with the opportunity to purchase all of the publisher’s graphic novels and comics, including the recently released hardcover, Quince: The Definitive Bilingual Edition.

We hope that you’ll enjoy some of the exciting highlights of Fanbase Press’ time at Imperial Valley Comic Con 2020 below:

Fanbase Press shared the field with fellow exhibitor and comic writer Henry Barajas who is best known for La Voz De M.A.Y.O. Tata Rambo, his graphic memoir about his great-grandfather Ramon Jaurigue (published by Image Comics).
