By now, we’ve all seen trailer for Batman V Superman which was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con. If you aren’t one of the 23 million-plus views that happened over 2 days, consider yourself “spoiler” warned.

Easily the most exciting thing to come out of Comic-Con, all of the geeks are geeking out. I feel the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive. One of the most exciting things about the trailer is our first look at Gal Gadot in action as Wonder Woman. I can’t lie. It was exciting to see our “Gal” in action. I think most people were skeptical about her casting (myself included), but it seems like she overwhelmingly won most people over with the brief glimpse we get of Diana (myself included). That could be good or bad. On one hand, perhaps they are saving the excitement for the movie. On the other hand, maybe there is no excitement? Perish the thought.

So, this is what I gather from the trailer: It seems as if her secret identity has a sassy, chic bob, and her superhero persona has long, flowing, wavy hair. (I believe that’s a secret power shared by my Fanboy Comics Editor, Barbra J. Dillon.) Gadot does look pretty cool in action, although it does kind of look like she’s “Vogueing” in a few scenes. Apparently, when she clacks her wristbands together, it creates a nuclear mushroom cloud, and she can also sit up really fast. And, grit her teeth. Or, something. I wonder if she can fly? I hope so. I mean Superman can fly, why not Wondy?

Still not 100% sold on Batfleck. He does look cool with the glowstick eyeballs. Cavil as Superman works for me. Either way, I’ll be there to see it. And, Wonder Woman. And, Justice League. See y’all next week.
