“Strange Bedfellows”
7.19 (aired April 21, 1999)

“I’m a patient woman, but I have run out of patience. I will no longer serve gods who give me nothing in return. I’m ready to walk the path the Pah-wraiths have laid out for me.”

Hi, Wonder peeps! We're only a few days away from the long-awaited release of the highly anticipated Wonder Woman film.

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

When Fanbase Press is not providing you with the latest in geek news and entertainment, the Fanbase staff hopes to offer our readers a myriad of opportunities to give back to the community. We love reading comics, watching movies, and playing video games, but we are never happier than when we are able to help others in need. With #GeeksCare: How You Can Help, Fanbase Press will provide you a variety of causes that would greatly appreciate your time.

In this week's installment of #GeeksCare: How You Can Help, Fanbase Press interviews Blair Herter who - along with his brother Thomas - will be riding their bikes from San Francisco to Los Angeles, CA, in an effort to raise funds for The Pablove Foundation which fights childhood cancer with love. In the following interview, Fanbase Press Editor-in-Chief Barbra Dillon chats with Herter about what inspired him to take on this endeavor, his preparations for the cross-state trek, how YOU can get involved with the fundraising campaign, and more!

“To them I’m the Sisko, an instrument to carry out their wishes. But they forgot that I am also human, with dreams and wishes of my own. They say that marrying Kasidy is a mistake, and maybe it is. But it’s my mistake to make.”
    -- Captain Benjamin Sisko

Taking advantage of free time for the family is sometimes just a matter of choosing from all of the many different options. Part one of the Geeky Parent Guide's Summer Series highlighted some TV and movies binge-worthy enough for a variety of different ages. Today, let’s take a trip around the United States to find theme parks and museums that might provide a perfect opportunity to burn off some of that end-of-the-school-year energy.

“Penumbra”

“Accept your fate. Your greatest trial is about to begin. Don’t be afraid. All will be as it should be.”
    -- Sarah Sisko

It's hard to believe we're already in the home stretch of Wonder Woman ’77 Meets the Bionic Woman, as today sees the release of Issue #4 of 6 from the maxi-series from DC Comics and Dynamite Entertainment written by Andy Mangels with Judit Tandora handling the art. It seems like just yesterday the fantasy project was being announced as part of Wonder Woman's 75th Anniversary festivities.
