“To them I’m the Sisko, an instrument to carry out their wishes. But they forgot that I am also human, with dreams and wishes of my own. They say that marrying Kasidy is a mistake, and maybe it is. But it’s my mistake to make.”
-- Captain Benjamin Sisko
Taking advantage of free time for the family is sometimes just a matter of choosing from all of the many different options. Part one of the Geeky Parent Guide's Summer Series highlighted some TV and movies binge-worthy enough for a variety of different ages. Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is the event to strengthen your interest in the amazing world of comic books, trade paperbacks, graphic novels, trading cards, superhero figurines, and posters of your favorite characters. FCBD also serves as the perfect opportunity for those curious about comic books to stop by their local store, pick up some free comics, and see the wonderful artwork and entertaining storytelling showcased within. As perfectly described on freecomicbookday.com (as part of the Diamond Pop-Culture Network) as to what the event is, “Free Comic Book Day is an annual event founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s a comic book that they’ll love.”
