Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: Mighty Aphrodite! The Web Series
What it's about: Mighty Aphrodite! is a new, 3D-animated romantic comedy web series from Krypton Media Group, the company behind the now world-famous sci-fi radio station, Krypton Radio. The new series follows the adventures of the Goddess of Love herself as she returns to the mortal world after a 2,000-year nap and falls in love with the first boy she meets. The series stars Mary R. Bergman-Kridler (pronounced cry-dler) in the title role, and Krypton Radio's DJ Shawn Crosby in the role of Ben, Aphrodite's new mortal beau. The series was created by KMG's CEO and station manager for Krypton Radio, Gene Turnbow. KMG's board chairman Susan Fox serves as executive producer on the project. Mighty Aphrodite! consists of short episodes, each four to six minutes in length, all animated using a hybrid of machinema and manually created 3D animation. The use of machinema allows episodes to be done very quickly and inexpensively, such that sets of three episodes can be produced for about $1000 per set. 14 episodes are planned for the first "season."

Project #2: The Epic Misadventures of Deathbag
What it's about: Collected edition of all three issues of the Epic Misadventures of Deathbag, including the yet-to-be released issue #4. Follow Deathbag, our heavy metal-loving grim reaper, as you joineries through his life dealing with traffic, dealing with talkers during a movie, going to comic con, and other misadventures.

Project #3: Mitch Hammer #2
What it's about: The world's favorite "construction worker with a backhoe digger for an arm vs. mutated menaces" comic returns!  Mitch Hammer is a 3-issue comic series written by Chris Lewis, with muscular artwork from Fernando Pinto, suave colors by K. Michel Russell, and virile letters by Marco Della Verde. We described issue #1 as the mutant man-child of NEXTWAVE and SHIRTLESS BEAR FIGHTER, and issue #2 is just like that but with even more science-gone-wrong.

Project #4: Death Dreamer
What it's about: Dealing in death isn’t an easy business, but for the multi-talented and tormented Scott Ian Lewis, death is life. Having spent the past 13 years as vocalist for the reigning death metal band, Carnifex, Lewis has is ready to deliver a dark and brilliant new creative chapter with his debut graphic novel, Death Dreamer. Illustrated by Chris DiBari (Hoax Hunters, Magdalena), with colors by Simon Gough (G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes, Ringside), lettering by Taylor Esposito (Red Hood & The Outlaws, Babyteeth), and cover by Chris Shehan (Prometheus, Deadbeat), Death Dreamer is a horrifically brutal murder mystery inspired largely by Lewis’ work as a funeral director in a mortuary.
