With the release of the new digital one-shot Bloodworth, a currently running Kickstarter campaign for Bloodworth #1, and an official Bloodworth anthem created by rock singer Alexx Calise, it's no surprise that the publisher is again wowing fans with the announcement of their partnership with Blippar, the leading augmented reality and visual discovery app.
Comic book publisher Archaia (an imprint of BOOM! Studios) will soon be releasing Lantern City #12 on Wednesday, April 13, written by Matthew Daley and Mairghread Scott, illustrated by Carlos Magno, and with cover art by Benjamin Carré and Dave Dorman. This May, Marko Kloos' best-selling Frontlines novels are getting the comic book treatment with a four-issue series called Frontlines: Requiem written by Ivan Brandon (Drifter, Viking) and illustrated by Gary Erskine (Dan Dare, Judge Dredd, Star Wars). California Coldblood Books, publisher of the post-apocalyptic action-comedy novel The Odds, will be taking Wizard World Las Vegas by storm this weekend with exciting panels, creator signings, and new books galore! Taking place from Friday, March 18, through Sunday, March 20, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Wizard World will feature independent and professional comic book creators and publishers, celebrity guests, collectible and toy vendors, informational panels, and much more!
Earlier this month, Fanboy Comics shared that fellow publisher DangerKatt launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the first full issue of Bloodworth, a thriller about an FBC squad in the near future that can probe people's memories to solve crimes. Written by Daniel Corey (Moriarty, Red City, DangerKatt's Prophet) and illustrated by Chris Fenoglio (Red City, Orphan Black, Weird Kids), the series initiated through a digital one-shot on ComiXology to rave reviews. Now, the creators have teamed up with rock musician Alexx Calise to release an official Bloodworth theme song!

Whedonopolis 2016, the Joss Whedon-centric convention taking place from May 13-15, 2016, at the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, recently announced the addition of Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Harry Groener to its list of special guests. The inaugural convention will raise funds to support the Sophie Lancaster Foundation and the Pop Culture Hero Coalition, two non-profits created to combat bullying and peer pressure.
