For years, our friends at Krypton Radio have provided listeners with countless hours of sci-fi music, talk shows, and radio dramas on their online-only radio station.  The free services provided by Krypton Radio are endless, and the quality is nothing less than stellar.  Now, the individuals behind Krypton Radio need your help to continue their work, as they are launching their own Indiegogo campaign to raise money for The Event Horizon, a convention-style panel (minus the convention) of sci-fi's best writers, musicians, artists, costumers, filmmakers, and other creatives.  Through the campaign, Krypton Radio aims to raise the necessary funds to travel to conventions across the continent, allowing its staffers to interview even more sci-fi greats.

Comic book publisher Top Cow will soon be releasing Issue #31 of Artifacts, written by Ron Marz (Green Lantern, Witchblade) and illustrated by Jung-Guen Yoon (Captain America, Age of Ultron), and the publisher has been very generous to the Fanboy Comics staff. After the overwhelming success of author Justin Robinson's last Kickstarter campaign, his latest novel will soon be hitting bookshelves!  The book, City of Devils, tells the tale of monsters ruling the City of Angels, where the only human detective in town has a devil of a job to do.  In advance of the book's release, our friends at Candlemark & Gleam have generously provided us with 5 (Yes, 5!) digital copies of the excitingly hilarious monster-noir mystery novel to give away to our readers.

Comic book publisher Top Cow will soon be releasing the sixth issue of Cyber Force #6, written by Marc Silvestri and illustrated by Marco Turini, and the publisher has been very generous to the Fanboy Comics staff. In advance of the Wednesday, September 18th, release date, we are now able to share a preview of Issue #6!

True to form, Stan Lee has done it again!  After successfully launching Stan Lee's Kids Universe, the multi-platform children’s book label from POW! Entertainment and 1821 Media, Lee is now releasing Dani Jones' Once Upon a Time There Was a Pig, a new and colorful picture book for kids. Once Upon a Time tells the fun tale of a little pig named Hamilton who wants to tell a story but keeps getting interrupted by a cast of eclectic animal friends.

Releasing nationwide this week in bookstores and comic shops, the book will also release digitally on the Kindle, iTunes, and Nook platforms.  For more information regarding the release of Once Upon a Time There Was a Pig, please see the official press release below.

Comic book publisher Top Cow will soon be releasing the fifth issue of Aphrodite IX, written by Matt Hawkins and illustrated by Stjepan Šejić, and the publisher has been very generous to the Fanboy Comics staff.  In advance of the Wednesday, September 18th, release date, we are now able to share a preview of Issue #5

The Fanboy Comics staff is very excited to announce that they will be attending Whedonopolis' 6th Annual Halloween Charity Event, which will take place on Saturday, October 26th, at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in the Barnsdall Art Park of Los Angeles, CA. In association with Fandom Charities, the full-day event promises to be a hootenanny of celebrity appearances, geektastic vendors, exciting prizes and giveaways, tasty food trucks, and lots of cinematic goodness, all benefiting Journey House, a non-profit organization that assists former foster children with all aspects of adult life, including, but not limited to, continuing education, obtaining housing, and job placement.

This year's event will feature screenings of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog, The Cabin in the Woods, Husbands, and the final season of The Guild.  In the early afternoon, Whedonopolis will have a special screening of Serenity, separate from the evening events, with proceeds benefiting Equality Now.
