This year marks the launch of the Joss Whedon-centric convention Whedonopolis 2016, taking place from May 13-15, 2016, at the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. With the mission of fundraising on behalf of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation and the Pop Culture Hero Coalition, two non-profits created to combat bullying and peer pressure, Whedonopolis 2016 will celebrate all of the fan-favorite properties, actors, directors, writers, and other creators that have worked within the Whedon-verse. With a plethora of stars already scheduled to appear at the convention, including Juliet Landau (Drusilla - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel), Doug Jones (The Gentlemen - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Hellboy), and Camden Toy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel), Whedonopolis 2016 is now excited to announce that Sam Anderson, best known by Angel fans as Wolfram and Hart's Holland Manners, has been added to the guest list.

In order to represent the geek-oriented aspects of creativity, notable geek gals Barbra Dillon of Fanboy Comics, Claire Thorne of An Unexpected Hobby, and Autumn Rain Glading of Brave New World Comics and the Geek Girls Society will be in attendance to discuss and showcase their work.
