Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:

The Fanboy Comics Staff is very excited to be exhibiting at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 while also bringing you the coolest interviews, commentaries, and photos - live from the convention floor!  From Wednesday, July 8, through Sunday, July 12, ALL of FBC's graphic novels, art prints, and other merchandise will be available for sale in the Small Press area, and you won't want to miss Fanboy Comics' SDCC Exclusives from Penguins vs. Possums and Fearworms: Selected Poems

October 21, 2015, was the date that Doc Brown, Marty McFly, and Jennifer Parker visited in Back to the Future: Part II, and, by no mere coincidence, 2015 is the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future. (It's a nice round number, after all.) For that reason, on the 21st of every month leading up to the big day, Fanbase Press invites you to join actor Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks, Selfie) and FP Senior Contributor Drew Siragusa as they revisit the locations used in the BTTF films. Along the way, they will be joined by contributors writing about what Back to the Future means to them and how it has influenced their lives over the past three decades.

The Fanboy Comics staff is very excited to be exhibiting for the first time at the City of Baldwin Park Comic Art Expo! Taking place on Saturday, June 27, 2015, from 11 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the City of Baldwin Park Arts & Recreation Center, the Expo is a free event that features local comic book creators, informational panels, children’s arts and crafts, animation screenings, vendor booths selling novelty items, interactive storytelling, face painting, cosplayers, a superhero-inspired photo booth, and much more.

Here at Fanboy Comics, we love geekery of all kinds, which is why we were overjoyed to learn of Boonzy Arts Candles, a company that makes hand-poured, soy candles with geeky, bookish, pop-culture-y themes!  Led by talented creator Lauren Rock, Boonzy is an up-and-coming factory of fantastic creations that are sure to appeal to the aroma-loving geek in all of us.  Rock recently joined Fanboy Comics Managing Editor Barbra Dillon for an interview to chat about the inspiration for Boonzy Arts Candles, the wide variety of candles available, and where you will be able to find Boonzy on this year's convention circuit.  Plus, as a special treat, Rock has generously provided us with two phenomenal candles to give away to our readers!  Be sure to read on for Rock's interview and then learn how to enter for a chance to win a Boonzy Arts Candle!
