The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting at Long Beach Comic Con next weekend, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place on Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the Long Beach Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. Throughout the weekend, we will be reporting live from the convention floor, providing you with the coolest interviews and photos - along with meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth, where you can purchase all of our graphic novels! Plus, Fanbase Press' staff and contributors will be participating in quite a few intriguing panels throughout the weekend that you will not want to miss!

Are you ready?!  The big day is almost upon us!  Yes, that's right . . . it is nearly time for International Read Comics in Public Day!  The staff of Fanbase Press would like to wish you and yours a very happy Read Comics in Public Day this Sunday, August 28, and we invite you to do simply that: Go and read comics in public!

For comic book fans in the Southern California area, Long Beach Comic Con is an annual event that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. The convention will return once again this year, taking place from Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18, 2016, with a plethora of phenomenal panels scheduled throughout the weekend. This morning, Fanbase Press is honored to announce the inclusion of the #MakeComics: How to Build an Audience from Scratch Panel which will take place on Saturday, September 17, at 3:30 p.m. With panelists Nick Marino (Holy F*ck!), Madeleine Holly-Rosing (Boston Metaphysical Society), and Fanbase Press' own Barbra Dillon participating, we invite you to join in on the insightful and exciting event!

The L.A. Derby Dolls - Southern California's premier all-female, banked track roller derby league - will have their geek pride on full display when they host their upcoming Comic Book Brawl! Taking place on Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at The Dollosseum (address below), the evening will feature an epic comic-book themed brawl with up-and-coming skaters, a mini comic book convention with talented indie creators, and more!

As avid supports of independent creators of all mediums of entertainment, Fanbase Press is very excited to be celebrating Buy Indie Comics Day this year alongside over 40 indie comic book creators at The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach, CA! Taking place on Saturday, August 6, 2016, from 12 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Buy Indie Comics Day celebrates indie, local, and small press creators and assists them in finding new audiences, comic book shops, and their fellow creators!
