LOS ANGELES, CA – February 1, 2016 – Fanboy Comics (FBC) is proud to announce that the Quality Time with Family Ties (QTWFT) podcast will return for its third season on Thursday, February 4, 2016!  

Last year, award-winning gaming studio F84 Games and CEO/game creator Jeff Hardy launched the exciting, new video game app, Stan Lee's Hero Command, to rave reviews. Now, the gaming company is off and running in 2016 with the announcement of their latest project, Crazy Train!

2016 is already off to a big start for Z2 Comics, the publisher who ramped up 2015 with fantastic, creator-owned titles including Welcome to Showside, Carver: A Paris Story, and Allen: Son of Hellcock.  Now, Z2 Comics has announced a slew of exciting titles for this year, including an original comic book mini-series called Murder Ballads with an original soundtrack by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys!

Even though her birthdays tend to end in disaster (i.e., boyfriend loses his soul, loss of super powers, etc.), we thought it was only appropriate to be there for the Chosen One on her special day and to help her blow out the candles . . . or decapitate demons - whatever it takes! Happy Birthday, Ms. Summers, and thanks for saving the world . . . a lot!

Fanboy Comics (FBC) is proud to announce that its flagship podcast, The Fanboy Scoop: Week in Review, will return for its sixth season on Monday, January 25, 2016! Having amassed over 200 episodes throughout its run, The Fanboy Scoop: Week in Review podcast and its co-hosts are eager to return for another stellar season filled with exciting, new guests discussing the latest in geek news.

Sci-Fest LA invites all Los Angeles-based geeks to join them on Monday, January 11th, at the beautiful Colony Theatre in Burbank, CA, for their fundraising performance of the chilling, 1944 radio version of the sci-fi horror classic, Frankenstein! The impressive cast includes a number of talented performers and sci-fi icons, such as Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Gates McFadden (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Tim Russ (Star Trek: Voyager), Linda Park (Star Trek: Enterprise), Philip Anthony-Rodriguez (Grimm), Alan Polonsky (Aliens), and John Rabe (KPCC's Off Ramp).

Just in time for the holiday season, the very festive comedy, Merry Xmas, will be coming to a variety of viewing platforms this month, to the delight of movie-going audiences everywhere.

Comic book publisher Top Cow will soon be releasing the seventh issue of Tithe, written by Matt Hawkins, illustrated by Phillip Sevy, and with cover art by Rahsan Ekedal. In light of the comic book's upcoming release on Wednesday, December 16, the publisher has been very generous to Fanboy Comics, as we are now able to share an advance preview of Issue #7!

This has been an incredible year for the award-winning musical duo, Player:Piano, which has released several phenomenal music videos featuring music that was arranged and performed by composer/pianist Sonya Belousova and directed and produced by Tom Grey.  With previous compositions honoring pop culture mainstays like Super Mario and Superman, Player:Piano is ending 2015 on a high note with the release of their latest work, an Ultimate Star Wars Medley, to celebrate the upcoming release of the highly anticipated feature film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  (As an added bonus, music lovers are now able to download the sheet music for Player:Piano's medley!)
