Presented by Fanboy Comics and Brave New World, this joyous holiday gathering will feature a plethora of comics, crafts, gifts, and other items made by talented indie artists and creators from the Los Angeles area. Seven local vendors will be showcasing their wares for shoppers to enjoy, with the full list detailed below.
In addition, the fine folks at Brave New World Comics will be hosting a Gift Wrapping Station, where members of the Geek Girls Society after-school program will be wrapping your purchases (so that you don't have to)! While the gift wrapping is free, donations are welcome. The proceeds will benefit the Geek Girls Society's currently running GoFundMe campaign. The Geek Girls Society, which was launched earlier this year by Brave New World owners Portlyn Polston and AutumnRain Glading, seeks to empower and encourage young women through geeky endeavors. Polston and Glading are hoping to expand the Geek Girls Society's borders and launch new chapters in cities across the country (at no charge to girls interested in participating), and the donations to the GoFundMe campaign will help by establishing the group as a non-profit organization.
