Fanboy Comics & Brave New World Comics Present the Indie Creator Holiday Bazaar!

Happy holidays, Fanboy Comics readers!  In this festive time of year, when you may find yourself harried by holiday card writing, travel plans, shopping for the loved ones on your ever-growing holiday gift list, and finding time to secretly (and craftily) wrap those gifts, allow us to provide an opportunity for geeky merriment and the ability to cross off many of those items on your To-Do List!  You’re invited to join Fanboy Comics and a myriad of LA’s talented indie artists and creators for the Indie Creator Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, December 12th, 2015, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Brave New World Comics in Santa Clarita, CA!

Presented by Fanboy Comics and Brave New World, this joyous holiday gathering will feature a plethora of comics, crafts, gifts, and other items made by talented indie artists and creators from the Los Angeles area. Seven local vendors will be showcasing their wares for shoppers to enjoy, with the full list detailed below.

In addition, the fine folks at Brave New World Comics will be hosting a Gift Wrapping Station, where members of the Geek Girls Society after-school program will be wrapping your purchases (so that you don’t have to)!  While the gift wrapping is free, donations are welcome.  The proceeds will benefit the Geek Girls Society’s currently running GoFundMe campaign.  The Geek Girls Society, which was launched earlier this year by Brave New World owners Portlyn Polston and AutumnRain Glading, seeks to empower and encourage young women through geeky endeavors.  Polston and Glading are hoping to expand the Geek Girls Society’s borders and launch new chapters in cities across the country (at no charge to girls interested in participating), and the donations to the GoFundMe campaign will help by establishing the group as a non-profit organization.
