Integrate Comics into Your Kids’ Summer Reading with Fanbase Press’ ‘Penguins vs. Possums’ Activity Guide via Comics Plus

Award-winning comics publisher Fanbase Press is getting ready for summer reading fun with digital streaming platform Comics Plus and non-proft organization Creators, Assemble!  To help young readers continue their engagement with books throughout the summer, Creators, Assemble! has crafted a Summer Reading Guide featuring engaging Animal Adventures comics that explore the animal kingdom from a variety of perspectives like Fanbase Press’ Penguins vs. Possums, The OctonautsSuper PetsRed Dog, and many more. The free guide includes age-appropriate recommendations for Children, Kids, Teens, Young Adults, and Adults that you can use as a physical or digital flyer; plus, a reading challenge and four activity guides from our partners at Creators Assemble!

Penguins vs. Possums is an action-adventure comic book series where anthropomorphized penguins and possums have been waging war on one another since the beginning of time.  Throughout the millennia, they have kept their battle confined to the shadows; however, one brazen act has escalated this conflict to a fever pitch. As the world careens toward Armageddon, every human on the planet will soon be forced to CHOOSE A SIDE!  Likened to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles, the series is geared towards readers ages 10 and up and comes from the creative team of Sebastian Kadlecik (creator – Eisner Award-nominated Quince), John Bring (Supernatural), and Lindsay Calhoon-Bring (writer – The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina).
