Fanbase Press Launches Monthly ‘Creator Forum’ Online Seminars for Indie Creators with ‘Writing for Comics’ with David Accampo

Fanbase Press’ Creator Forum offers affordable, monthly online seminars geared towards independent creators from a variety of mediums.  Part lecture and part discussion, Creator Forum seminars are accessible to various experience levels and provide direct access to a knowledgeable and responsive specialist.  Fanbase Press invites you to develop and enhance your creative toolkit within a positive and supportive community from the comfort of your own home.

For its inaugural seminar, Fanbase Press welcomes creators to join David Accampo for the “Writing for Comics” Creator Forum on Sunday, April 19, at 1 p.m./PST.

A graduate of the 2016 DC Comics Talent Development Writer’s Workshop, David Accampo is know for his character-focused and genre-spanning comic writings, including Sparrow & Crowe (Hermes Press), Lost Angels (Comicker Press), and Fanbase Press’ The Margins.  In the “Writing for Comics” Creator Forum, attendees will follow along as Accampo shares his experience and knowledge regarding the sequential art medium to help demystify writing for comics.  Topics will include how to break a story, scripting for comics, and advice on the necessary collaboration that takes place between the writer and the artist.

The “Writing for Comics” Creator Forum will be an hour-long session which will take place via the Zoom online platform, and registration for the seminar will be $10.00 per attendee
